About
Hi, I’m Imke! I’m 22 years old and currently studying Communication and Multimedia Design at Avans in Den Bosch.
I started this study because I wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted to do at first, but I’ve always been a creative person. CMD turned out to be the perfect fit for me, as it allowed me to explore different areas and discover where my true interests lie. Over time, I’ve developed a strong passion for social media, branding, photography, and multimedia design.
In my free time, I like to stay active, travel, and find inspiration in new places and experiences. I enjoy discovering new cities, cultures, and little details that often spark creative ideas. Photography plays a big part in this, as it allows me to capture moments and translate them into visual stories.
I live in Venlo together with my boyfriend, and we have two cats, Miso and Kimchi. Outside of my creative work, I enjoy going to the gym and running, which helps me stay focused and energized.
I also like to keep myself inspired by staying up to date with trends in social media and design, and experimenting with new styles and concepts. I’m always curious and looking for new ways to grow, both creatively and personally, and I enjoy challenging myself to step outside my comfort zone.
My Experience
Multimedia design intern Periscoop

During my internship at Periscoop, I worked in a creative environment where I contributed to various projects related to social media, branding, and visual content. I was involved in creating and designing content, supporting brand identities, and helping to bring ideas to life visually.
I had the opportunity to further develop my skills in design and communication, while also learning how to work with real clients and within a team. This experience taught me how to think both creatively and strategically, and how to translate concepts into clear and engaging visuals.
